BarcodeChecker is a reliable application designed for scanning and verifying event tickets using barcodes or QR codes. This tool caters to event organizers, enabling them to swiftly authenticate barcode tickets at the event entrance via one or multiple Android smartphones while meticulously maintaining attendance records.

• You must note that the app is specifically purposed for scrutinizing event tickets and is not suitable for scanning lottery or purchased tickets unless you are the event organizer equipped with a list of valid barcodes.
• Every valid ticket gains admittance only once, ensuring the rejection of forged or duplicated tickets. Upon scanning a valid barcode, the smartphone indications include a green flash and a single beep. Conversely, scanning an invalid barcode results in a red flash, 3 beeps, and vibration feedback.
• Users have the flexibility to examine barcode tickets generated via TicketCreator software or import barcode lists from Excel files. For registered tickets, additional details such as the ticket holder's name can be viewed post-scan.
• During the scanning process, it is imperative for smartphones to be linked to a Windows PC serving as the host for the BarcodeChecker software containing the verified barcode list.

It is essential to highlight that while the app is free, users need to procure and install BarcodeChecker software for Windows to function as a server on their PC. A trial version of the server software is available for testing without any cost implications.

Setup:

1. Download BarcodeChecker app on smartphone.
2. Install BarcodeChecker Windows software on PC. The software can be purchased or tested in trial mode at no cost.
3. Initiate BarcodeChecker software on PC as a server and access the list of verified barcodes.
4. Connect smartphones via WIFI to BarcodeChecker server PC.
5. Commence scanning tickets with smartphones.
